The Suction Hose Range:
- Heliflex Hose (green and red): Lightweight, flexible, general-purpose suction and delivery.
- Spring Flex Hose: Clear and spring reinforced, useful where you need to see flow or check for a blockage.
- Grey HD Suction & Discharge Hose: A heavier-duty option for tougher general use.
- Black Magic Oil/Water Suction Hose and Tigerflex ORV Oil Suction & Discharge Hose: Oil-resistant formulations for fuel and oil transfer.
- Tigertail Suction & Discharge Hose: Built for abrasive media suction & vacuum work.
- Tigerflex Amphibian PU Lined Hose: Polyurethane lined for high abrasion resistance where grit and solids would wear a standard hose out fast.
- King Bee Wastewater Suction Hose: For wastewater and vacuum loading — but primarily designed for portable toilet suction work.
Applications:
- Pumping and Irrigation: Drawing from tanks, rivers, ponds etc.
- Fuel and Oil Transfer: Using the oil-resistant compounds specifically.
- Wastewater and Vacuum Loading: Where the hose has to survive both vacuum and abrasive content.
Applications to Avoid:
- Oil and Fuel Through a Water Compound: The wrong compound will swell, soften and fail. Match the hose to the media, not just the size.
- Abrasive Material Through a General-Purpose Hose: Grit and solids wear the inner wall out fast. Tigertail or the Amphibian PU lined hose are built for it.
- Exceeding the Vacuum Rating: Every suction hose has a limit. Beyond it, the helix will not stop the wall collapsing.
