The Clamp Types We Stock:
- T-Bolt Hose Clamps: A heavy-duty clamping option across three ranges (W1 carbon steel, W2 and W4 stainless steel). The bolt tensioning system spreads load evenly around the hose and holds tension better through temperature cycling.
- Preformed Clamps: J-Series — high strength but low-profile clamping, suited to hoses that get a lot of manual handling.
- Oetiker Clips: A permanent single-use crimp clamp giving a consistent, tamper-proof seal on assemblies that will not be taken apart again.
- Worm Drive Hose Clips: Worm-drive style in perforated and non-perforated band, for general water, air and low-to-medium pressure lines. The non-perforated band has no slots to trap grime.
Choosing the Right Clamp:
- Match the Clamp to the Pressure: T-Bolt clamps are the standard for high pressure and larger diameters. Worm drive clips suit lower pressure lines.
- Stainless for Wet and Food-Grade Work: For dairy, food, marine or anything left out in the weather, stainless steel is worth the extra over mild steel. It will not rust or seize.
- Torque Matters on T-Bolt Clamps: T-Bolt clamps seal on correct bolt torque. Under-torqued they weep; over-torqued you risk damaging the hose or stripping the bolt.
- Suction Lines Behave Differently: A hose under vacuum is a different clamping problem to one under positive pressure. Tell us which you are dealing with.
