Tigerflex Amphibian is a PVC suction hose with a thick polyurethane tube engineered for wet and dry material handling where abrasive wear is the primary concern. The PU liner outperforms standard PVC in abrasive service and also resists petroleum-based oils — making it well suited to vacuum truck work where both soil and oily fluids may be handled through the same hose. Cold Flex construction keeps it manageable in cold conditions. Available in 4", 5", 6", and 8" bore (102mm–203mm).

Features

• Thick polyurethane tube provides superior abrasion resistance versus standard PVC — suited to rock, gravel, sand, concrete rubble, and similar abrasive materials in both wet and dry suction applications.
• Oil-resistant PU liner resists most animal and petroleum-based oils, suited to vacuum truck applications handling mixed oil/water streams.
• Static dissipative cover prevents static electricity buildup during high-velocity dry material handling.
• Cold Flex construction — hose remains flexible at sub-zero temperatures, well suited to colder regions of NZ.
• Convoluted outer cover provides increased hose flexibility.
• Phthalate free. Made in USA.

Construction

• Cover — Static dissipative, convoluted PVC.

Applications

• Grain transfer and air seeder lines — the PU liner’s abrasion resistance and static dissipation make this well suited to high-velocity grain handling.
• Agricultural dry fertiliser and granulated product transfer.
• Hydro excavation vacuum truck boom hose — lighter and more manageable than full rubber boom hoses for standard commercial applications.
• Rock, gravel, sand, and crushed concrete suction.
• Industrial vacuum equipment for heavy duty abrasive material handling.

Primarily a suction hose — not designed for sustained pressure delivery at rated working pressure.
