Tigertail is a highly flexible medium duty PVC suction and delivery hose — a popular choice for air seeder lines, vacuum truck fluid work, and general suction applications
Tigertail is a super-elastic PVC suction and delivery hose with a rigid PVC spiral protection system and smooth internal wall. Its combination of high flexibility, thick wall, and spiral protection makes it well suited to air seeder and grain transfer work, and it is also widely used on vacuum trucks for fluid suction — wastewater, cesspool, and general liquid suction applications. The smooth bore prevents material buildup. Available in 51mm to 152mm (2" to 6").
Note: Tigertail and the King Bee Wastewater Suction Hose look similar in appearance but are very different products. The King Bee is a premium polyethylene wastewater hose with integral overmoulded cuffed ends, sold in pre-cut lengths. Tigertail is a general purpose PVC suction hose available in bulk roll lengths.
Features

- Rigid yellow PVC protective spiral — abrasion resistant, protects the hose from external wear, and maintains bore shape under vacuum.

Construction
- Tube — Black super-elastic PVC.
- Reinforcement — Rigid yellow PVC helix.
- Cover — Rigid yellow PVC spiral, abrasion resistant.
Applications
- Air seeder and grain transfer — primary application; the flexible PVC construction and spiral protection suit high-velocity grain flow in agricultural systems.
- Vacuum truck fluid suction — wastewater, sewage, and cesspool work.
- General suction and delivery of water and non-aggressive fluids.
- Hydro excavation extension hose.
Primarily a suction hose — not designed for sustained pressure delivery at rated working pressure. Confirm chemical compatibility before use with specific chemicals or petroleum products.
