Petroleum Suction and Delivery Hose is a black nitrile rubber S&D hose — suited for oil, diesel, and petroleum product handling as well as water and wastewater in the same hose assembly
Petroleum S&D is a nitrile rubber suction and delivery hose with an embedded steel wire helix for bore support under vacuum, and high tensile textile reinforcement for pressure resistance. Nitrile rubber is resistant to petroleum products with aromatic content up to 50% — making this hose suitable for diesel, oil, and petroleum transfer. It also handles water and wastewater, making it a versatile choice for mixed-use suction applications. Available in 19mm to 102mm (3/4” to 4”).
Features
- Nitrile rubber tube — resists petroleum products with aromatic content up to 50%, including diesel and mineral oil.
- Embedded steel wire helix — maintains bore shape under vacuum, enabling suction as well as delivery.
- High tensile textile reinforcement — working pressure ranges from 10 bar (larger sizes) up to 21 bar (19mm); see table.
- Also suitable for water and wastewater transfer.
- 3:1 safety factor.
Construction
- Tube — Black nitrile rubber, petroleum resistant.
- Reinforcement — High tensile textile plies with embedded steel wire helix.
- Cover — Black rubber, weather and abrasion resistant.
Applications
- Diesel and oil transfer suction and delivery.
- Petroleum product suction in fuel depots, mobile tankers, and machinery yards.
- Water and wastewater suction and delivery — suitable where the same hose handles multiple fluids.
- Industrial liquid transfer where petroleum resistance is required.
For fuel bowser and refuelling delivery hose, see the Petroleum Delivery Hose — a heavier walled nitrile delivery hose specifically designed for bowser and refuelling applications. Confirm chemical compatibility before use with specific petroleum products.
