Female Bauer Hosetail

Female Bauer hosetail fitting — designed to be pressed into the end of a hose to enable connection to a male Bauer coupling. Supplied without O-ring seal, which is ordered separately.

The Bauer coupling is the most common coupling used on large suction and layflat hose assemblies in New Zealand. It is one of the most popular choices for high volume water transfer due to its rugged construction, and its ability for the two halves to connect at up to a 30 degree angle while still ensuring a watertight connection.
