- Clear Braid Hose: Reinforced clear PVC — useful for lower pressure spraying when you want to see the flow or spot a blockage.
- Uniflow Ag-Jet Spray Hose: Purpose-built for high pressure agricultural spraying equipment.
- Black PVC Multi-Purpose Hose: A highly flexible option for general farm and workshop use beyond spraying alone.
Applications:
- Boom and Tank Spraying: Herbicide and pesticide application across cropping and pasture.
- Horticulture and Orchards: Spray rigs running through vines, orchards and market gardens.
- Liquid Fertiliser: Application lines where the chemical would degrade a standard water hose.
Applications to Avoid:
- Above the Hose's Pressure Rating: Spray equipment often runs at higher pressure than people expect. An underrated hose is a safety risk, not just a maintenance problem. Check the pump spec if you are not certain.
- Strong Solvents and Hydrocarbons: PVC-based hose can swell, soften or crack when exposed to solvents, fuels and some oils. Check compatibility before running anything unusual through it.
- High Temperature Work: PVC has a limited working temperature range compared with rubber. It is not the hose for hot fluid transfer.
